Milan Muller knows that he performs best in practical situations. After looking around at the Graphic Lyceum, he concluded that he wanted to gain broader experience in marketing. MM is therefore the ideal place for MM!
More interest in digital
“At the Grafisch Lyceum, they pay a lot of attention to drawing, while my interest is more in the digital side of marketing, communication, and design.” In that respect, MM suits him perfectly: “Posting content on the websites and social media channels of our clients is a big part of my job. But I also support Justin, our account manager.”
Prefer practice over theory
In addition, Milan attends a two-year marketing course in Arnhem one day a week. “I started there this school year. It’s a general course, which allows me to build a broad background in marketing.” He wants to expand his knowledge in practice, at MM. “I’m more focused on practice than on theory. I like that one moment I’m sitting next to a designer, the next I’m out with an account manager, and I also get to work with the copywriter.”

Challenging and Diverse
Milan has now been working in Sliedrecht for almost half a year. “The atmosphere at MM is good. I enjoy the work, also because it’s challenging and varied. At the moment, I enjoy supporting our account manager the most. It’s versatile and diverse: we come up with solutions and I look things up. For example, how a chatbot works, so we can integrate it into a client’s website.”
Broadening Instead of Specializing
A role as an account manager is the goal Milan has in mind. “That means I mainly need to broaden my knowledge, rather than specialize in one direction. Online appeals to me more than offline: it’s dynamic, more up-to-date. For example, posting news articles and social media posts for our content clients. There are a lot of details involved, which often differ per client. I notice that I’m really developing in that area!”
Outside of MM
Milan spends his free time at the gym three times a week. “I do strength training, together with friends. I also go out with the same group of friends. I’ve known most of them for a long time.” As a PSV supporter, he regularly attends home matches: “Champions League again this season!” He’s still enjoying living at home. “It’s fun, with my older brother Owen. Besides, I’m only eighteen years old, so I’m in no hurry to move out.”
‘Combination of Creative Qualities’
“For me, MM stands for creativity. The combination of the creative qualities in the team and what we create. We really do it together!”
